Hi, I’m Chris!

Green Bag Designs is named after my favorite green Kate Spade bag. I carried it everywhere when I first started my business. Client meetings, networking events, coffee shops, airports… if I was working, that bag was with me. Somewhere along the way, it became part of my identity. When it came time to name my company, the choice was pretty obvious.

The color stuck, too. I look great in green.

Broccoli, on the other hand? That’s a different story. I have yet to figure out how anyone eats it without immediately checking their teeth.

Over the last several years, I’ve worked with law firms, CPA firms, financial professionals, consultants, and other service businesses, helping them create websites that communicate more clearly and marketing that feels more intentional.

I’ve learned that great businesses rarely struggle because they lack expertise. More often, they’re so close to what they do that it’s hard to explain it in a way that’s simple, clear, and easy for someone else to understand.

That’s where I come in.

I love untangling messy websites, organizing scattered ideas, refining messaging, and helping business owners create an online presence that reflects the quality of the work they already do.

Some projects involve a complete website refresh. Others start with a conversation, a homepage, or a handful of questions about SEO, AI visibility, or content strategy. Every project starts the same way: figuring out what matters most and building from there.

I’m naturally curious, probably ask too many questions, and genuinely enjoy finding the opportunities that are hiding in plain sight. It’s one of the reasons I created the Website Clarity Score. Looking at a website and seeing where someone might hesitate, get confused, or lose confidence feels a bit like solving a puzzle, and I love puzzles.

When I’m away from my computer, you’ll usually find me planning my next trip, reading a good book, dreaming up my next business idea, or carrying that same green Kate Spade bag.

If your website has been sitting on the “we really need to update that” list for a little too long, I’d love to help.
